Calvin Brooks

Elon - Calvin Lamont Brooks, 72, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at his home. He was born on June 2, 1945 in Bucks County, PA to the late Claude D. Brooks and Gladys Elizabeth Thomas Brooks and was the husband to Patricia "Pat" Mushinski Brooks of 53 years who survives.

Calvin was a retired self-employed roofing contractor who enjoyed hunting and playing horseshoes.

Survivors other than his wife, Pat include his sons, Kevin L. Brooks and Keith M. Brooks and wife, Shawn; daughters, Karen Jean Brooks and Kelly Ann Brooks; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and brothers, Curtis Brooks and wife, Marie, and Frank Brooks and wife, Susan. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 5 brothers.

The family will be receiving friends from 2 to 4pm Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the residence.
