Claydeen Carlyle Glosson, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Hospice Home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Wanda Collins Glosson and was born June 28, 1927 in Alamance County to the late Ensley and Rosa Johnson Glosson. Carlyle retired from Lemco Mills after many years of service. He was a member of People's Memorial Christian Church where he had been very active in the church. He enjoyed spending time in his garden especially growing his prize tomatoes. Carlyle loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his daughters; Gaye Paul Long of Snow Camp, Donna Glosson of Graham, sons; Jeff Lisa Glosson of Greensboro, Jerry Renee Glosson of Pittsboro, grandchildren; Eric Stephanie Long, Brooki Williams, Gayla Everett Glosson-Hudnell, , Becca Glosson, great grandchildren; Julia Long, Olivia Long, Grady Long, sisters; Gwendolyn Baysden of Burlington, Sarah Hinshaw of Siler City and a brother Bennie Dorothy Glosson of GA. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a granddaughter Abbey Michelle Glosson, three sisters and five brothers. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Friday at People's Memorial Christian Church by Rev. John Shields. Interment will follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and host a reception11:30 -1:45 Friday prior to the service at the church.
