Bunny Bristow

Bunny Ray Bristow, 75, was taken to his heavenly home Monday March 2, 2020 after several months of failing health.  He was born December 8, 1944 in Alamance County to the late Thomas Franklin and Annie Greeson Bristow and was married to Linda Faye (Sykes) Bristow for fifty-four years.  He was employed by Glen Raven Mills for over fifty years.  He attended Stony Creek Presbyterian Church.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching baseball, basketball games, playing softball and golf, and going to the beach. He loved traveling with his wife Linda Faye.

He is survived by his wife Linda Faye Bristow; sons, Mike Bristow (Linda), David Bristow (Patty) and Tim Bristow (Ashley); grandchildren, Caleb Bristow (Jenna), Brooke Bristow, Clint Bristow, Austin Bristow, Vickie McLendon and Andy Ingle (Kellie), great grandchildren, Nathan McLendon, Abigail Ingle and Emersyn Ingle; brothers, Bobby Bristow (Shirley), Tommy Bristow (Susan); sister, Mary Thacker and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harry Bristow, Billy Joe Bristow and Ben Bristow.

The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Randy Wellford.  Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 9:30 – 10:45 AM Wednesday prior to the funeral and at other times at the home.
