Liberty-Bryant Carson Andrews, 95, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the Hospice Home. He was a native of Alamance County and the husband of 69 years to Mary Sharpe Andrews who survives.
Bryant retired from Lorillard Tobacco after 23 years and was a member of Low's Lutheran Church. He was an avid rabbit hunter and member of the Alamance Beagle Club. Bryant enjoyed watching Nascar and eating at Zack's with his friends and family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of the home; sons, Michael Bryant Andrews and wife, Karen of Liberty and Samuel Earl Andrews and wife, Susan of Greensboro; grandchildren, Candy Andrews Lewis and husband, Derek and Julie Andrews Rivera; great grandchildren, Parker Lewis , Peyton Lewis and Adley Rivera and a niece, Nancy Andrews Sutton and husband, Mike of Swepsonville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carson and Jennie Dunevant Andrews and a brother, J.C. Andrews.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017at 2:00 pm at Low's Lutheran Church by Pastor John Mark Beam III and the burial will follow at Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 pm prior to the service at the church and other times at the residence.
