Bryan Michael

Bryan Leroy Michael, 83, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Peak Resources. He was born February 26, 1931 in Juniata County, PA to the late James Andrew Michael, Sr. and the late Evelyn Ida Fasick Michael. Bryan was the husband to Jeannie Hockenberry Michael for sixty years. He had retired and enjoyed spending time helping others. He was a very active member of New Hope Baptist Church serving as a former Deacon, usher and trustee. He was known as "the Candy Man" by the children of the church. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife of the home, daughters; Lynne Donahue and husband Jack of Middletown, PA, Mari Davis and husband Rick of Cabot, AR, grandchildren; Michael Davis and wife Brandi, Katie Gruber, Alex Davis, Jeremy Donahue, great grandchildren; Heidi Davis and Joe Davis, sisters; Vivenne Willis of Dingsman's Ferry, PA, Sharon Hockenberry and husband Rich of Quakertown, PA, brothers; Robert Michael of Port Royal, PA and Walter Michael and wife Jane of McClure, PA, and Larry Michael and wife Nancy of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Sandra Kay Gruber, a sister Margaret Hosler, brothers; James Michael, Jr. and Edwin Michael. The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church by Pastor Randy Hobbs. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7:00-9:00 PM Friday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and other times at the home.
