Brigitte Anna Elisabeth Vann

Brigitte “Kitty”, a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 21st, 2024, 7:07 pm at UNC Hospital Chapel Hill, NC surrounded by her loved ones. Born on July 19th, 1944 in Frankfurt, Germany to Franz and Elisabeth Christ. She was 80 years old. 

Brigitte was the beloved mother of Stephan (Archie), Jesse Sr. (Lhanie), Charlie (Sue-Anna), Owen (Angela), Brittney (Matthew) and a devoted grandmother to Kassie, Jesse Jr., Aaron, Kristina, Dylan, Wesley, Eleana, Tiffany, Logan, a devoted great grandmother to Avery, Emily, Oliver and sister to Thomas, Michael and Cornelia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth, father, Franz, her sisters, June, Mary Anne, Christine, her brothers Philip and James “Alvin” and her grandson, Kameron. Her loving presence and nurturing spirit were a constant source of strength and joy for her family.

Throughout her life, Brigitte was known for her kindness, warmth, and selflessness. She dedicated her life to her family. Her legacy of love and dedication will forever be remembered and cherished. 

Visitation will be held on August 26th, 2024 between the hours of 5pm and 8pm at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. A memorial service will be held on August 27th, 2024 at 11am at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Brian Shoffner followed by a graveside service at Alamance Memorial Park. Family and friends are welcome to both services in honor of Brigitte.  The family will also receive friends from 1-4 PM Tuesday following the graveside service at The Way Church, 580 NC 100, Whitsett, NC 27377.

Brigitte will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her love and memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
