Mrs. Brenda K. Wells, 72, passed away early Thursday morning, July 16, 2020 while at Annie Penn Hospital.

Born in Alamance county to the late William Graves Smith and Martha Byrd Rudd Smith on August 28, 1947. Brenda was a hairdresser for over 50 years at Classic Casuals in Burlington and was a great service in her profession to many people.  She was a faithful wife, mother and grandmother and loved her family very much. Her hobbies included bowling, fishing, gardening and anything outdoors.  She just enjoyed living.

Mrs. Wells is survived by her husband, David Wells of the home; daughters: Danielle Berry and husband, David and Regina Stanfield and husband, Brad; sons: Chris Wells and wife, Tish and Jamie Wells; grandchildren: J.R. Lewis, Julia Stanfield, Cheyene Allen, Summer Berry, Laythan Wells, and Autumn Berry; brothers: Cecil Smith and Kenneth Smith; and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Brenda was predeceased by her sister, Doris Nixon and six brothers: Allen, Ralph, Jim, Billy, Johnny and George Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Oakview  Church, under its shelter and interment will follow in the church cemetery.
