Brenda Wise

Mrs. Brenda Riddick Northcott Wise, age 70, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013 at Hospice of Wake County's William M. Dunlap Center for Caring after several months of failing health. Born in Ahoskie, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Eley Riddick and the late Lonford Spivey Riddick and was married to Wesley Earl Wise, who survives. Brenda was a former bank teller with BB&T in Graham, a member of St. Mark's Church and she greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Wise is survived by her husband of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Reed Newman of Raleigh and Nicole Davis and her husband, Blair, of Raleigh; three grandchildren, Savanna Capps, Kayla Davis and Katelyn Davis; two step sons, Jeff Wise of Oklahoma City, OK and his fianc, Mary Farahmand of Dallas, TX and Casey Wise and his wife, Amanda, of Norman, OK; three step grandchildren, Hadley, Kamryn and Logan Wise; and her sister, Peggy Vaughan and her husband, Louie, of Raleigh. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Rondle Wynne "Ron" Northcott, who died in 2004; and a brother, Ronnie Riddick A memorial cryptside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at St. Mark's Church Columbarium by Rev. Bob Disher. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Wise's family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Wake County Hospice for the loving care given to their mother.
