Brandon Reid

Brandon Michael Reid, age 35, of Burlington, passed away on January 3, 2017 at UNC Hospitals after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in Orange County, he was married for over 11 years to Leslie Ayers Reid, who survives. Brandon was an auto technician by trade, but his passions were being a loving husband, father and brother and working with model cars.
Brandon is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Logan and Elijah; a brother, Lucas Reid and his wife, Brittany, of Graham; a sister, Jessica Reid of Raleigh; several half brothers and sisters; five nephews, Kenan, Kaleb, Isaiah, Zack and Gavin; a niece, Mya; mother-in-law, Caroline Ayers; father-in-law, Gary Conlon; brother-in-law, Bryan Conlon; and a sister-in-law, Jennifer Conlon.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be receiving friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at the mother-in-law's residence, 622 Danieley Way, Elon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at www.pancan.org.
The Reid family encourages anyone who is planning on attending the memorial service to please dress casually, because that's what Brandon would have requested.
