Brandon Hunter

Brandon Lee Hunter, 34, of 48 Lee St. in Milton, NC died suddenly on Sunday, July 18, 2010. He was born August 2, 1975 in Alamance County to Richard "Bud" Lee and Donna Faucette Hunter who survive. Brandon was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the War on Terrorism and was a member of the Haw River and the Milton Volunteer Fire Departments. He was loved by all and never met a stranger. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to laugh and cut up. Brandon is survived by his parents; his companion, Alicia Wilson; a brother, Richard "Rick" Hunter and wife Sarah of Burlington; sisters, Jeannie Hunter Wade and husband Larry of Haw River and Cheryl Hunter of Georgia; nieces, Michelle Whitfield and husband Chad, Trinity Hunter-Wade and Erin Hunter; and grandparents, Robert and Myrtle Faucette of Burlington. He is preceded in death by a brother, Johnnie Martin Hunter; his grandparents, Johnnie and Elsie Hunter; and a niece, Kelly Hunter. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, July 23, 2010 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Toma Shaw and Janice Allman. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 6-8 pm Thursday and other times at his parent's home, 113 N. Spray Place, Haw River, NC 27258. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd, Burlington, NC 27217.
