Bradford Watkins

Mr. Bradford DeMorris "Brad" Watkins, age 45, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
Born in Alamance County, he was the son of Pastors Jerry Glenn Watkins and Evelyn Slade Watkins, who both survive, and was married for over 20 years to Mrs. Jeffonda Lynn Watkins, who survives. Brad graduated from Western Alamance High School and then studied at NC A&T, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, and later studied at Pfeiffer University where he received a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Health Care Administration. He was employed with Volvo Trucks North America in Greensboro and was a member of Faith Harvest Church Ministries, where he was a Minister of the Gospel and a Psalmist.
Brad is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Judah DeMorris Watkins and Josiah Glenn Watkins; his parents of Elon; a sister, LaDonna Chryle Watkins Dean and her husband, Dana, of Atlanta; niece and nephew, LaDania and Dalan Dean; numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a godson, Jody Fuller.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Bishop Harry Cohen. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:45 PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
