Bradford Roberson

Bradford Jake Roberson, 67, of 408 Green St., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 23, 2009 at Kindred Hospital after several months of failing health. Born in Durham County, he was the son of the late William Loy Roberson and Mrs. Hazel Abee Roberson, who survives. Bradford was retired from Leesona Corporation with over 20 years service and attended Eastlawn Baptist Church. He was a very dedicated Christian, actively volunteering with New Directions Ministries and also with Hospice. Bradford is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mrs. Alice Mae Pfeffer Roberson of the home; his mother of Mebane; a daughter, Leigh Ann Porterfield and husband, Chris, of Elon; a son, Randall Roberson and wife, Debbie, of Mebane; seven grandchildren, Justin, Jacob, Amber and Emily Roberson as well as Hunter and twins, Savannah and Madison Porterfield; and two sisters, Donna Macomson and husband, Don, and Sharon Weaver and husband, Gary, all of Mebane. The funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 PM Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Steve Joyner and Dr. Terry Farmer.
