Boyd Franklin Thomas

Mr. Boyd Franklin Thomas, age 82, formerly of Holts Store Rd., passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Peak Resources after several months of failing health.

 A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Lonnie Henry Thomas and the late Mabel Phillips Thomas and was married for 62 years to Mrs. Antha Josephine May Thomas, who survives. Boyd was a retired patternmaker and accomplished woodworker and was longtime member of Brick Reformed Church, where he served in the Consistory and taught Sunday School. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and always put the needs of his family first.

 Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife of the home; three children, Paula Cooney (Richard), ALisa Barley (Craig) and Chad Thomas (Nicole); three grandsons, Tyler Thomas, Austin Thomas (Christi) and Christian Barley. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.

 The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 26, 2024 at Brick Reformed Church by Rev. Geoff LaLone. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the committal service in the church fellowship building.
