Boyd Andrews

Burlington- Mr. Boyd Gerald Andrews, 78, of 307 Thompson St. went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Mr. Andrews was born September 23, 1928 in Alamance County to the late James Alton and Lucille Terrell Andrews. Mr. Andrews retired after many years of service from Macke Food Service and is a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Betty Wiggins Andrews of the home; two daughters, Anne A. Peacock of Burlington and Laura A. Staunton and her husband Tim of Greensboro; a granddaughter, Ashleigh M. Brown and her husband Callum; two great granddaughters, Gracie A. Brown and Emma R. Brown; two brothers, Frank Andrews of Mebane and Craig Andrews of Raleigh. Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Davis and Patricia Welch; and a brother, Jimmy Andrews. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Harvest Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Lamberth and Pastoral Care Minister Allen Filgo. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times the family will be at the home.
