Bonita Adams

Burlington - Bonita "Bonnie" Jean Fassold Adams, age 78, passed away September 25, 2017 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
Born in Harrison, Ohio, to the late Carl William Fassold and Anna Cook Fassold she grew up in Brookville, Indiana, where she was graduated from Brookville High School. She met her late husband Jerry Jackson Adams while in business school. They married and built the foundations of a rich life together with their three children. She was known as a stylish, gracious, gregarious, nurturing and spiritual wife and mother and an indispensable "get it done" executive assistant in multiple industries, most recently for Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Co. in Graham. Generous, adventurous and outwardly focused, she volunteered locally at ARMC, Allied Churches of Alamance County Homeless Shelter, Meals on Wheels and internationally through Global Health Outreach in El Salvador and Canada. She was known as a prayer warrior and the "life of the party" among her family, co-workers and rich network of friends. Faith was central to her life and she worshiped in Burlington at First Baptist Church, St. Mark's Church and Hope Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Baker and husband, Bob; sons, Dr. Todd Adams and wife, Leslie and Dr. Scott Adams; grandchildren, Spencer Baker, Savannah Baker, Lydia Adams, Jackson Adams and Clayton Adams; sisters M. Annette Riedman and husband, James, Karen Sue Frank and husband, James; brother Bruce C. Fassold and wife, Patty; nieces, Kathryn Richards, Wendy Sargent and Megan Fassold; nephews, Jeffrey Riedman, Rick Frank, Josh Frank and Matt Fassold; and her extended family in her bible study group and church friends.
