Bobby Starling

Gibsonville Bobby Lynn Starling, 63, of 6209 Osceola-Ossipee Rd. passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Alamance County and was the son of the late Floyd and Lucille Jerrell Starling. Bobby was married for 36 years to Linda Sue Starling, who survives. He was a member of Alamance Lutheran Church and retired from Battleground Tire and Wrecker Service. Bobby was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Starling of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Beth Starling of Madison; daughter, Jackie Starling Reece of Gibsonville; grandchildren, Seth Starling and Brandy Reece and brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Carolyn Starling of Graham. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Don Ledbetter. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service on Tuesday and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
