Bobby Reavis

Bobby Gene Reavis, age 68 of 5661 Westfield Rd. passed away Friday December 1, 2006 at Veterans Administration Hospital, Durham. A native of Guilford County, Bobby was the husband of the late Shirley Johnson Reavis and son of the late Ralph Thomas and Tula Mae Simpson Reavis, Sr. He was retired from Annedeen Hosiery and was a former member of J.A. Lowe Memorial Church. Survivors include his fiancee, Patty Sechrest; daughter, Linda Michelle Reavis of Gibsonville; son Bobby Gene Reavis, Jr. of Charleston, SC; 4 grandchildren Jeffrey Todd Reavis, Jason Dale Moore, Tiffany Amber Moore and Kasey Marie Reavis; 3 great grandchildren; 5 sisters, Betty Curtis and husband Ed, Colleen Thomas and husband James, Barbara Wall, Linda Wolfe and husband David all of Burlington and Mary Nelson and husband Wilber of Winston-Salem. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brother, Ralph Thomas Reavis, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Keith Love. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-6 PM Sunday and at other times at the home of Jeffrey Reavis, 3551 Forestdale Dr. F-8, Burlington.
