Mr. Bobby Gerald Moore, 64, of 3028 Cherokee Dr. passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Hospice Home. Mr. Moore was born April 1, 1943 in Alamance, County to the late Mallie Ronnie and Betty Sue Alcon Moore. He retired from Glen Raven Mill and was a member of Altamahaw Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include three daughters, Laurie Blackwell, Tammy Moore Espita, and Amy Moore Shaw all of Burlington; a son, Barry Coble and his wife Toni of Altamahaw; three brothers, William Moore, Ronnie Moore, and Robert Moore; a sister, Jane Bordoe of Raleigh; seven grandchildren, Celshea Jones, Amanda Chrisco, Kenny Blackwell, Jr., Jason Lunsford, Ryan Lunsford, Landon Lunsford, and Kim Coble; four great grandchildren; and three step-children, Jay Boggs, Tim Boggs, and Tressa Willis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Moore, two sisters, Frances Whitsell and Jean Hawkins; three brothers, Harold Moore, Layton Moore, Jimmy Moore; and a son-in-law, Kenneth Blackwell, Sr. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2008 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Delmar Scotton. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. this evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at the daughter's home, 1017 N. Park Ave Burlington. Memorials can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell 914 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215.
