Bobby Modlin

Bobby Lee Modlin, 85, passed away Friday, December 15th at the Hospice Home. He was born September 28, 1932 in Alamance County to the late William and Rose Womble Modlin and was married to the late Annie Clapp Modlin. Bobby retired from Cone Mills Granite Plant after forty-four years of service. He loved being outdoors either hunting, fishing or running his dogs.

Survivors include his sons, Roger Modlin, Tony (Rhonda) Modlin; daughters, Penny Modlin, Brenda Modlin, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; sisters, Barbara Grant, Jackie Ashley, Pat Ray, Ruby "Polly" Rudd; brothers, Haywood Modlin, Delbert Modlin, Gene Modlin and Frankie Modlin.

There will be a graveside service 2:00 PM Monday at Haw River City Cemetery by Pastor Jason Speicher. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home of his daughter Brenda.
