Bobby Heath

Graham-Bobby Daniel "Bob" Heath, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at UNC Hospital. A native of Orlando, Florida, he was born November 11, 1935 to the late John Daniel Franklin and Mollie Mae Brite Heath Norris and was the husband of 57 years to Nancy Karen Heath of the home.
Bob retired as a Baptist minister and also worked with Sears for over 15 years. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church located in Durham and a veteran of the US Coast Guard. Bob was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of the home; sons, Patrick "Pat" Heath and wife, Patricia and John Heath and wife, Debbie; daughters, Karen Sue Heath and Martha Elizabeth Heath; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his step father, Leo Norris.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held 1:00pm on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Liberty Baptist Church by Pastor Derrick Ketner with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Heath family.
