Bobby Foster

Bobby Lee Foster,72, passed away Thursday January 19th at his home He was born April 23, 1944 in Alamance County to the late Arthur Lacy and Estelle Roddy Foster and was married to Jean Terrell Foster for 54 years. He was a member of Peoples Memorial Christian Church and retired as the chief surveyor from the city of Burlington after 34 years of service. He was an accomplished banjo player and loved to ride his harley. He and his wife enjoyed riding and traveling even going to Bike Week in Daytona. He loved his family and spending time with them.
He is survived by his wife Jean; daughter, Amy Reaves; sons, Roddy Foster, Jason Foster; grandchildren, Ashley Wyrick, Amanda Wyrick, Alexandria Reaves, Dylan Foster and Jarrett Foster.
The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Darrell Massey. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 12:30 - 1:45 PM Monday prior to the funeral.
