Bobbie McGuire

Bobbie Brafford McGuire, 84, passed away Wednesday April 24, 2013 at the Hospice Home after many years of failing health. She was the wife of the late Rev. Frank McGuire and was born August 30, 1928 in Wake County, NC to the late Modie and Ida Mae Permenter Brafford. Bobbie was a typical Pastor's wife being involved with all aspects of supporting her husband and family. She loved spending time with her family and visiting with people. Survivors include her daughter Robyn McCann and her husband Clint of Reidsville, a son Eddie McGuire of Blanche, grandchildren; Michael Ray, Trent McGuire, Michelle Clayton, Melinda McGuire, Ashley McCann, Vicki McCann, Maggie McCann, eight great grandchildren, a sister Audrey Clampitt of Clemmons and sisters-in-law; Delores Brafford and JoAnn Witherow. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers; Ronald Brafford, Buster Brafford and Billy Brafford. The graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Alamance Memorial Park by Brother Tony Honeycutt. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell or The Piedmont Rescue Mission. The family would like to say a special thank you to Hospice for the care they gave their mother.
