Billy Shoffner

Graham Billy Joe "Cowboy" Shoffner, age 78, of 613 Whitsett St., Graham, passed away Saturday May 22, 2010 at Hospice Home. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Burton Luther and Mary Elizabeth Bailiff Shoffner. He was a former employee of Hole-in-None Hosiery and attended Low's Lutheran Church. He is survived by 23 nieces and nephews and special friends, Bob and Shelia Crutchfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Lucian Shoffner, Colon Shoffner, Mary Ruth Isley, B.L. Shoffner, Margaret Reitzel Vance Shoffner, and Blanche Vance. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday at the Low's Lutheran Church Cemetery by Rev. Dr. David Mielke. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 11:30-12:30pm Tuesday, then process to the cemetery for services.
