Beverly Sutton

Beverly Kay Ward Sutton, 64, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Alamance County to the late Lloyd Vance Ward and Mary Lee Foust Ward and was the wife of 35 years to Raymond Eugene Ray Sutton who survives. Kay formerly worked at Annedeen Hosiery Mill and was attending Hopedale Christian Church. Survivors other than her husband, Ray include her daughters, Tori Lynn Craig, Teresa Lyn Taylor, Jennifer Sutton Journigan and Tracy Anne Toombs; son, Phillip Karl Sutton; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; twin sister, Evelyn Faye Russell and half-sister, Angela Ward Rice. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Gloria Jean Harrelson and a brother, Lloyd Vance Ward, Jr. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215. There will be a private service held at a later date. Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the Sutton family. All Flowers Need to be at the funeral home by 12:30pm Monday, February 22, 2016.
