Beverly Stone

Beverly Ann Hargrove Stone, 90, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020.  She was born in High Point to the late Thomas Glenn and Pearl Ann Holder Hargrove and was married to the late John L. Stone III.  She was a kindergarten school teacher and was actively involved in sharing education to her community.  Beverly and her husband founded a local foster child Christmas program to help foster parents provide for their families and she was also involved in helping prison inmates as well as other adults earn their GED.

She is survived by her children, John L. Stone IV (Sandy), Joshua H. Stone (Cheryl), Julia Ann Louise Stone; grandchildren, Jonathan Albright (Joy), Jeremy Stone (Skyler), Ian MacIntosh, Grey Stone, Colin MacIntosh, Philip Lamendola IV and great granddaughter, Addison Stone.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandson, John L. Stone V and siblings, Julia Freeman, Susan Majors and Thomas Jackson Hargrove.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Harvest Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Lamberth. Graveside services will be private.
