Betty Stafford

Burlington, NC Betty Williams Stafford, age 60 passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at UNC Hospital. She was a native of Alamance County and the daughter of the late William Lacy Williams and Mary Louise Goswick Williams. Betty was employed for many years with Burlington Industries in the Division Office. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Betty is survived by her daughter, Leslie Nicole "Nikki" Bennett and her special friend, Phillip Shingleton of Burlington; grandchildren, Laci Bennett and Cameron Bennett; brother, Bobby Williams and his wife, Debra of Currituck, NC. She was preceded in death her parents and a brother, Barry Williams, The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
