Betty London

Mrs. Betty Love London, age 80, of Graham, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Mebane Ridge Assisted Living after several months of failing health.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. James Thomas Love, Sr. and the late Agnes Qualls Love and was married to Lowell Thomas London, who survives.
She was employed in the banking industry for over 49 years and then worked another 13 years with social services before her retirement at age 62. Betty was a longtime faithful member of Wicker St. Baptist Church, where she served as the pianist for over 45 years.
Mrs. London is survived by her husband of Graham; three children, Cynthia Trinidad Mitchell and her husband, Rev. Mark Mitchell, Conrad Trinidad and his wife, Judy, Rev. Scott London and his wife, Tara; a step son, Frank London; four grandchildren, Kristienne Tyson, Bryan London, Jessica London and Jayla London; two great grandchildren, Kaidyn Sakari Tyson and Piper June Tyson; a brother, Rev. James Thomas "Tommy" Love, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Virginia Love McKinney.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Wicker St. Baptist Church by Rev. Scott London, Rev. Mark Mitchell and Rev. Ricky Lewis. Interment will follow at Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 -7 PM Saturday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the daughter, Cynthia's home, 3349 Winston Dr., Burlington.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Mebane Ridge Assisted Living and Hospice of Alamance-Caswell for their special and loving care of Mrs. London during her illness.
