Betty Jane King Graham, 84, passed away one day shy of her 85th birthday on Monday, July 27, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Guilford County to the late Stiner William King and Sallie Bogus Gerringer King and was the wife of 65 years to Robert Bolton Graham who survives. Betty retired after 45 years with Greensboro Manufactory. She enjoyed her flowers, sewing and watching the hummingbirds around her house. Survivors other than her husband, Robert include her son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Nancy Graham; granddaughter, Crystal Byerly and husband, Tony; great grandchildren, Gavin Byerly, Anthony Byerly and Bailey Byerly; sister and brother-in-law, Mollie and Sammy Joyce; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Tula Willard, Frankie Burnette and Linda Atkins; a brother, Bobby King. The graveside service will be held 11:00am Wednesday at Lakeview Memorial Park by Rev. Wendel McDowell. There will be no public visitation. The family will be at the sons' home in Gibsonville. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Hospice nurses and to the sitters, Debra, Lillie, Kristi, Sherry, Crystal and Cindy for all their loving care and support during Betty's illness.
