Betty Jean Lineberry Faulkner, age 83, of Dixon Swimming Pool Road went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Tessie Jeffreys Lineberry and wife of John Alvis Faulkner who survives. She had been employed by Sterling Recovery as well as ESI and she was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Hopedale Christian Church which she loved dearly. She was the most wonderful wife and mother anyone could hope for. Survivors include her husband, John A. Faulkner of the home; son, John Kirk Faulkner of Burlington; daughter, Karen Jean Faulkner; sister, Doris L. Dickens of Norcross, GA; niece Rebecca Faulkner and nephew, Don Faulkner. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Georgie Faulkner and Helen Naylor and brothers, Doc Lineberry and Boyd Lineberry. The family would like to thank to Rev. Bob Cauthren, who helped the family tremendously during her illness. They would also like to thank Dana, Vickie and Dr. Phifer and the whole Critical Care Staff as well as Joe, Barbara and the Girls of Grace. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Hopedale Christian Church by Rev. Bob Cauthren, pastor. Interment will follow in McCray Cemetery. Mrs. Faulkner will remain at Lowe Funeral Home until being taken to Hopedale Christian Church where the family will receive friends from 12noon until 12:45pm, prior to the funeral service. At other times the family will be at the home of Kirk Faulkner; 2113 Lower Hopedale Rd., Burlington, NC.
