Burlington – Betty Williamson Bryant, 81, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the Alamance House after several years of failing health. She was born on June 29, 1938 in Alamance County to the late Walter E. Williamson, Sr. and Stella Owens Williamson.
Betty was employed for 20 years with Kayser-Roth and formerly worked with the N.C. Prison Division. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Elon.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Darlene Felts and husband Bennie, Vicki Smith and husband Ronnie; grandchildren, Abigail Smith, Adam Smith, Justin (Alicia) Felts, Nikki (Paul) Crews and Bennie (Erin) Felts; great grandchildren, Heidi Smith, Nora Smith, Preston (Sarah) Lashley, Jacob (Karissa) Lashley and Thomas Crew; great great grandsons, Elijah and Henry Lashley. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Frances W. Stoner; and brothers, Wesley Williamson and Walter Williamson, Jr.
A private service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 by Dr. David Durham, the burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
