Burlington - Ms. Betty Louise Isley Ball, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital. She was born in Alamance County on November 27, 1941 to the late E.M. and Esther K. Isley and was the wife of 50 years to the late Jerry Lee Ball.
Betty was a member of Dayspring Baptist Church. She loved to give hugs and was a magnificent model of God's love to her family and everyone she came in contact with. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa B. Littiken and husband Timmy of Burlington; sons, Gary Lee Ball and wife Pam of Burlington and Dr. R. David Ball and wife Brandi of Florida; grandchildren, Brian Durham and wife Erin, April Durham, Hope Ball, Paige Ball, Piper Ball, Porter Ball, Allegra Ball and Eric Rhew; great grandchildren, Taylor Walker, Trinidy Walker, Braxton Walker, Layla Williams, D.J. Williams, Rose Thompson, Savannah Durham and Bransen Rhew; sisters, Aggie I. Owen (Reggie), Shirley I. Killmeier (John), Geraldine I. Mix (Thomas), Faye I. Lucas (Kenneth), her aunt, Agnes L. Kellam and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, Larry E. Isley.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Larry Redding with the burial to follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:45am prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and other times at the home.
