Betty Jean Bradsher Allbritton, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 31, 2020. She was born on April 8, 1937 in Alamance County to the late Merdith Casper Bradsher and Clarisse Allison Bradsher and was married for 52 years to the late Isaac “Dennis” Allbritton who died in 2014.
Betty retired as a teacher’s assistant with South Mebane Elementary School and was a former employee with Belk Department Store. She was a member of Haw River Christian Church. Betty was a very caring and loving lady, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who will be missed dearly.
Betty is survived by her son, Tim Allbritton and wife, Wendy; daughters, Angela Allen and husband, Terry and Susan A. Wilson; grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon) Williams, Kimberly (Josh) Waldron, Amanda Allbritton, Nick Carter and Kalah Carter; great grandchildren, Jaiden Allbritton, Colton Wilson, Chase Wilson, McKenna Williams, Jaxson Wilson, Brexton Waldron and Emery Williams; a sister, Ann B. Neal and husband, Ted; nephew, Heath Neal and wife, Jennifer and a niece, Brooke Thompson and husband, Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a son, David Keith Allbritton.
The celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Mr. Curtis Barker with the burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 1:45pm Wednesday prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the sons’ home in Graham.
