Bettie Weatherford

Bettie Jean Boswell Weatherford, 81, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after two weeks of declining health. She was born in Caswell County on March 19, 1936 to the late Claude Alton Boswell and Lucille Grace Shaw Boswell.

Bettie was a former employee with Western Electric and retired from Digital Computers with over thirty years of service; and a member of Kerr's Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sister, Marie Brown; niece, Pam Harris; aunt, Cornelia Boswell, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a special friend, Bobbie Burns.

The funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, November 13, 2017 at Kerr's Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Norman Harris and Rev. Ron Poythress, with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 to 1:45pm Monday at the church prior to the service and other times at the residence.
