Betsy Goforth

Burlington - Betsy Steed Goforth, 73, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in High Point on March 25, 1944 to the late Floyd R. Steed and Josephine Weant Steed. She was the wife of Joseph Franklin Goforth, Jr. who survives.

Betsy was the owner of her own travel agency and was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her sons, Eric Goforth (Jill Dunn) and Mark Goforth (LaReé); grandchildren, Zane, Sylvie, Kayla, Julia, Jaxon and Olivia.

The memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
