Mrs. Betsy Hutchins Frick, age 58, of Burlington, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 29, 2015 at her home after several months of failing health. Born in Rockingham County, she was the daughter of the late Monroe David Hutchins and the late Evelyn Josephine Gammons Hutchins and was married over 14 years to John David "Jay" Frick, who survives. Betsy was a former salesperson for AFLAC Insurance Company and a faithful member of Friendly Lane Baptist Church. She was a strong Christian lady and was dedicated to serving her Lord and family. Her joy in life was singing, playing the piano, and witnessing for the Lord. Mrs. Frick is survived by her husband of the home; her daughter, Amy Kuehne and her husband, Harold, of Burlington; her granddaughter, Keree Kuehne; a sister, Anne Bobby Scott of Reidsville; three brothers, James Mary Hutchins of Gibsonville, Lonnie Hutchins of Reidsville and Kenneth Judy Hutchins of Elon; six nieces and eight nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, June 1, 2015 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Craig Cox. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 4 PM Sunday afternoon at the funeral home and other times at her brother, Kenneth's home, 3108 Stoney Creek Church Rd., Elon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, 27215 or to Friendly Lane Baptist Church, 1122 Vaughn Rd., Burlington, NC 27217.
