Bertha Stallings

Mrs. Bertha Mae Biggs Stallings, 83, of 3266 Mine Creek Rd., died Monday, February 5, 2007 at the Hospice Home after three months of failing health. A native of Eagle Rock, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Miles Biggs and the late Sally Kidd Biggs and was married to the late Daniel Coley "Dan" Stallings, who died in 1999. She retired from Copland Fabrics after more than 40 years service and was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church. Mrs. Stallings is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Honeycutt and her husband, Dannie, and Nancy S. Jones and her husband, Marvin, all of Burlington; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and dear friends and caregivers, Ella Parker and Shelby Coleman. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Hubert Marshall Biggs. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Keith Jones. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening and other times at the home.
