Benny Thomas

Benny Ray Thomas, 59, of Gibsonville died on Friday, April 23, 2010 at Kindred Hospital. He was born in Forsyth County to the late Talmadge Stamey and JoAnn Wiles Thomas and was married to Stephanie Kivett Thomas who survives. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church and served in the National Guard. He is survived by his wife of the home, daughters, Adrianne Matthews and her husband Daniel of Raleigh, Ashley Alise Thomas and her fianc Alan Brandt; sons, Jeffery Brandon Thomas and Jessica Prevatt of Burlington, Jerreth Jackson Thomas of the home; grandchildren, Aidan Ray Thomas and Savannah Grace Matthews. There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friedens Lutheran Church, 6001 Hwy 61 North, Gibsonville, NC 27249 or to Lenoir-Rhyne University, School of Education, P.O. Box 7150, Hickory, NC 28603.
