Benjamin Chambers

Burlington - Benjamin Daniel Chambers, 47, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Ben was born June 13, 1971 in Mecklenburg County, NC. He is the husband of 19 years to Christina Tilley Chambers.

Ben was an avid car collector including the classics as well as race cars. He loved his "junk" collection and was considered the original American Picker.

Ben is survived by his wife, Christina Tilley Chambers; son, Jacob Daniel Chambers, father, David Lewis Chambers, Jr. and wife, Teresa of Mebane, NC; mother, Sherry Ann Stone of Durham, NC; brothers, Clint Chambers and wife, Jennifer of Apex, NC; and Matt Rehrig of Greensboro, NC; sister, Misty Hunt and husband, Jeff of Morganton, NC; nephews, Walker Chambers and Michael Hunt; niece, Jenna Chambers and beloved dogs, Dixie and Little Bit.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home by Pastor Curtis Carroll with the burial to follow. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45 prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
