Beatrice Hill

Burlington Mrs. Beatrice Parrish Hill, age 81, of Glen Raven, NC went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Earnest Edward Parrish and Cora Lee Hensley Parrish. She was the wife of the late Alvis Graham Hill for 55 years. She retired from Macfield Textiles and was a home healthcare person for 10 years. She was of the Baptist faith and lived most of her life in the Glen Raven community. Beatrice is survived by 3 daughters, Joan Hill Hooper Lindon, Connie Hill and Vickie Hill; a son, Jerry Hill Laura all of Burlington and a step son, Sam Hill Jan. She was the loving grandmother of Ray Hooper, Chuck Hooper Lynette, Amy Hardy Ron, Kim Williams, Candy Williams, Jeremy Wase and Benjamin Ramirez, 12 great grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, James Parrish Alma. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and 3 brothers, Lonnie Parrish, Junior Parrish and Marvin Parrish. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. James Black and Rev. Bill Skenes with interment to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-6 Sunday evening at the funeral home.
