Barry Baggerly, Sr.

Barry Lee Baggerly, Sr., 75, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Hospice Home.
A native of Danville, VA, he was the husband of Jo Anne Dowdy Baggerly and son of the late Lee O. and Gladys Miles Baggerly.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran where he served as an air traffic controller and he retired as manager of Cortina Fabrics. He was V.P. of Virginia Walking and Racking Horse Assn., member of the N.C. Walking Horse Assn. and Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' and Exibitors Assn.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Anne Dowdy Baggerly of the home; son, Barry Lee Baggerly, Jr. and wife Cathy of Cleveland, TN; daughter, Kimberly "Kim" Rehnborg and husband Charles of Goochland, VA; and son, Craig Baggerly and wife Crissy of Reidsville; grandchildren, Blake Baggerly, Malorie Baggerly, Lexi Clarke, Logan Baggerly, Zach Abbott, Emma Baggerly, Madison Abbott, Lane Baggerly and Lizzie Baggerly; step grandchildren, William, Dallas, Shelena and Aidan Alexander and a host of close friends and neighbors..
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, November 4, 2017 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jeff Prewer and Marvin Butler.
Mr. Baggerly will remain at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday at Lowe Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell; 914 S. Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
