Graham - Barnie Clifford Tysor, Sr., 77, went home to be with his Savior on Friday, January 11, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born in Alamance County to the late Joseph Waters Tysor and Mildred Burns Tysor and was the loving husband of 57 years to Smythie Rudd Tysor.
He graduated from Walter Williams High School and attended Elon College. He served in the US Army for three years, and married Smythie on July 29, 1961. He had a passion for quail hunting, fishing and his family will always have fond memories of spending time with him on the lake or in the woods.
Barnie formerly worked at Annedeen Hosiery, Precision Parts and General Machines. He was a life-long musician and was the organist at Lighthouse Baptist Church for over 30 years and greatly loved Mr. Fleetwood Milsap and his family. Barnie was an honest hard working man with few words, but had a strong faith in the Lord.
