Barbara Durham

Barbara Ann Braswell Durham, 77, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at her daughter, Julie's home in Danville, VA surrounded by her family. She was born on February 10, 1939 in Eufaula, Alabama to the late Wiley Evander Braswell and Elma Gray Williams Braswell and was married to the late William Edward Durham who died in 2015.

Barbara was a homemaker, she loved her family adored her grandsons and she will be missed dearly.

Survivors include her son, William Durham, Jr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Greg Lee; grandsons, Tyler Lee, Hagen Lee and wife, Sara, Dillon Lee and Addison Lee; sisters, Ruby Lott, Norma Jones, Brenda Johnson, Virginia Wells and Sue Wilson; a brother, Wayne Braswell. Preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Sandra Ward.

The celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastors Alan and Becky Greenstreet. The family invites you to join them for a reception and fellowship following the service at Dr. Ken and Linda Ellington's home in Burlington.
