Banner Charles

Elon - Banner Keith Charles, 44, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at his home after several months of failing health. He was born in Buchanan County, VA on July 10, 1972 to his late father, Banner Charles and his mother, Sharon Esther Beavers Charles of the home.
Keith was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, reading and watching westerns. He was a loving father, grandfather, son and brother and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Charles; son, Evan Keith Charles and wife Samantha; step-daughter, Christy Jones; brother, Christopher Davis and wife Brenda; sister, Mary Alice Wolford and husband Brad; grandsons, Anthony Charles and Aiden Charles; niece, Christy Davis and nephews, Ethan Wolford and wife Kristen and Caleb Wolford and wife Rachel. He was preceded in death by his father, Banner Charles; maternal grandparents, Roy and Alice Beavers and paternal grandparents, Harve and Mary Belle Charles.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jimmy Bledsole. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. A service will also be held at 6::00pm on Friday, July 7, 2017 at North Springs Old Regular Baptist Church in Wolford, VA by Preacher James Stacy. The burial will be held 11:00 Saturday at Davis Cemetery in Wolford.
