Baby Hudson Orr

Baby Hudson Maurice Orr was a precious gift from God.  He was stillborn on Tuesday March 23, 2021 at Duke University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was conceived and loved by his parents whom they will always cherish in their heart.  Everyone was anticipating your arrival but God still needed you as one of his angels.

Hudson is survived by his parents, Kevin Maurice Orr and Briana Paige Lefler Orr; maternal grandparents, James Lefler and Belinda Lefler; paternal grandparents, Samuel and Patsy Orr; paternal great grandmother, Dorene Haynes; aunts and uncles, William Lefler, Marcus Orr (Lauren), Mike Lefler (Tammie), Tracy Jones, Toni Oakley and Debbie Wilson (Mike).

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Violet Sutton, Henry and Julia Lefler and his paternal great grandparents, Maurice Haynes, Joseph and Catherine Orr.

The funeral service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church by Pastor Boyd Pickard, Pastor Randy Haynes, and Pastor Keith Pickard with the burial to follow at Graham Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 1:45pm Saturday at the church prior to the service.

The family would like to express their gratitude to their family, friends and church for all the compassion, prayers and support that they have received.
