Ayden Denver Sasser

Ayden Denver Sasser, 2 years old, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025. A bright light in our lives, Ayden was born on April 11, 2022, in Durham County, NC. He filled the world with his joyous laughter and vibrant spirit. 

Ayden was a little boy filled with an outgoing personality, spreading happiness to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love for giving fist bumps became a signature gesture, and as he was just learning the art of shaking hands, his adorable attempts were met with delight from family and friends. He cherished the moments of laughter, often making others smile with his playful antics. Whether it was going for walks, playing hide and seek—especially when it involved hiding from things he didn't quite want to do—or watching his favorite movies such as Lightning McQueen and Inside Out, Ayden embraced life with open arms.

He shared a special bond with his loving parents, Bryan and Angel Sasser, who nurtured his adventurous spirit and playful heart. His older sister, Jenna Sasser, maternal grandparents, Ila and Johnny Byars, and paternal grandparents, Bobby and Jeanie Sasser. Ayden was blessed to have a multitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished him dearly.

A service to celebrate Ayden's life will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at  St. Mark's Church by Pastor Pete Stearns with the visitation to follow in the church atrium. A graveside service will take place at 11:30AM on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Hobgood Cemetery by Pastor Ron Elkin in Hobgood, NC.
