Ava Bailey

Ava Dawn Bailey, 53, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. She was born on July 31, 1963 in Alamance County.

Survivors include her sons, Matthew Bailey (Megan McNeil), Brian Bailey (Sophia Callahan) both of Fairmont; her mother, Joy Walker of Burlington; a sister, Denise Loye (Jerry) of Burlington. Granddaughter, Natalie Butler; three special boys, Timothy Baxley, Michael Myers and Robbie Cummings; three step sisters, Carolyn Simpson (Lee) of McLeansville, Brenda Scarbrourgh of Reidsville and Mary Stevens (Jerry) of Conway, SC.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Moore; her husband, Timothy Wayne Bailey; step fathers, Robert Whitesell and Anderson Walker.

The services were held on April 5, 2017 at Baltimore Baptist Church in Fairmont and the burial was in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.
