Audrey Hunt Brogden

Audrey retired after 43 years with the Veterans Hospital in Durham, where she was a Medical Technologist who worked in the Chemistry and Reference Laboratory. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, she enjoyed photography, singing, working in her flower gardens, teaching family members how to garden, and doing crafts. But most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Bryant and husband David, Janie Moore and husband Donnie, and Cindy Brogden; ten grandchildren, Joshua Brogden, Chad Jones, Jamie Moore Apple and husband Clint, Elizabeth Moore and fiancé Logan Schmidt, Chase Bryant and wife Beth, Blake Bryant and wife Ashley, Brandon Hollar and fiancée Hannah Jones, Crystal Jones, Christen Moore Faucette and husband James; twenty-five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; a sister, Barbara Blalock; a brother, Nathan Hunt and wife Nancy; and several nieces and nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents and a step grandson, Trae Bryant.

The celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Mike Williams. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at the residence. Memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 2744 Maple Avenue, Burlington, NC 27215 or to the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
