Ashley Marie Kernodle

Ashley Marie Kernodle, 34, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

   She was a member of Altamahaw Baptist Church and was a 2006 graduate of Southern Alamance High School. She also attended Governor School.  Ashley enjoyed singing, cooking and spending time with her children and family.

   She is survived by her two children, Charles “Charley” Isaac Kernodle, Amelia Stella Noelle Kernodle; grandfather, Bob Varnadore (Margie); parents, Sheila and Randy Richardson; Dana Overbey; sisters, Stephanie O’Donnell (Keith), Amber Dodson (Matt), Heather Quakenbush (Scott); half siblings, Chase Overbey, Tiffany Casillas; co-parent and friend, Johnathan Andrew Kernodle and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Juanita Varnadore, Ralph and Joan Richardson and William and Glenda Overbey.

   A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00pm on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Walter Jones.  The family will receive friends following the service.
