Arturo Gutierrez

Arturo “Art” Alberto Gutierrez was a loving Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend.  He left this world far too soon.  He passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, at the age of 48.

Art was a proud father of three wonderful children, Lorena Gutierrez, Arturo Gutierrez Jr., and Selena Perez.  He was also a loving grandfather to three beautiful grandchildren Leonidas Patrick, Enrique Perez Jr., Ellianna Perez.   Art is also survived by his mother and father Rosario and Bartolo Morano, His sister Violeta Moreno Ventura, his brothers Manuel, Jesus, Juan, and Geronimo Moreno; his son-in-law Enrique Perez, Future Daughter-in-law Holly Anderson, his girlfriend, Laura Chrisco and bonus daughter Molly Chrisco.

Art was a hard-working, big-hearted, mean-looking man, but his bright smile would light up a room and be contagious.  He had a song for everything, no matter the mood anyone was in.  His love for the Dallas Cowboys was so strong he would back them no matter how they were doing.  He was hard-headed and stubborn, but he loved to pick with people and tell jokes, and if he loved you, he always had your back.  Art will be dearly missed.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on December 3 at Lows funeral home in Burlington, with a repast immediately following the service TBD
