Arthur Fogleman

Liberty, NC-Arthur Vernon Fogleman, age 70 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at UNC Hospital. He was the husband of 49 years to Joyce Mitchell Fogleman who survives. Arthur retired after 48 years with Tyco Electronics. He was a member of Low's Lutheran Church and a farmer in the community. Arthur enjoyed tractor pulls and Nascar racing. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Joyce M. Fogleman of the home; daughter, Michelle Culler and husband, Bo of Powder Springs, Georgia; sons, Todd Fogleman of Liberty and Chad Fogleman and wife, Stephanie of Liberty; grandchildren, Timothy, Sydney, Harrison and lacy; sister, Alma Lou Shaw and husband, Glenn of Gastonia; brother, Alvis Fogleman and wife, Peggy of New Bernand many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joel Weldon and Verna Dare Fogleman and brothers, Joel and Holt Fogleman. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 am at Low's Lutheran Church by Rev. John Mark Beam, III and the burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Low's Lutheran Church, 2135 NC Hwy 61, Liberty, NC 27298
